"Roberta per Roberta", a table-sculpture born from the mutual esteem and close friendship between myself and Roberta Tagliavini. The piece was recently successfully exhibited at Miart, Milan, by the Robertaebasta gallery.
As an art designer and researcher, often defined by critics as a "free electron" on the contemporary scene, I conceived this piece as an act of absolute creative independence.
This artwork stands as a true limited-edition "Object-World" of conviviality—a cast bronze table designed to narrate memories and the traces of transcontinental journeys and rituals. The surface of the sculpture is intentionally left unpolished: the marks and scars of the casting process remain visible as pure, raw statements of identity. By elevating functional utility into monumental sculpture, this collectible design piece reinterprets the table as the archetype and primary locus of human connection and collective existence.
